About Dr. Sessions

Jessica Sessions, MD, FAAP, is a board-certified pediatrician serving patients at Village Pediatric Group in Tuckahoe, New York. Dr. Sessions enjoys forming strong relationships with families and working with parents to help improve the physical and mental well-being of their children.

Dr. Sessions holds an undergraduate degree in chemistry from the University of South Carolina in Columbia and a medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. She continued her medical education by completing her residency at the Johns Hopkins Children’s Center in Baltimore, Maryland. After finishing her training, Dr. Sessions became an attending physician in the pediatric emergency department at Harlem Hospital Center Emergency Room after moving to New York City from Baltimore. 

Along with her experience in hospital and outpatient settings, Dr. Sessions also served as the Director of Pediatrics for the William F. Ryan Community Health Center, and later as the Medical Director of the Ryan Health Women and Children’s Center on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. After 16 years of both administrative and clinical work at the health center, Dr. Sessions joined the Village Pediatric Group in 2016. 

In addition to her board certification from the American Board of Pediatrics, she is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and affiliated with New York-Presbyterian Lawrence Hospital in Bronxville, New York.

Dr. Sessions has been living in Lower Westchester for the last 17 years, though she calls South Carolina her home state. Her interests include spending time with her husband and four children and watching sports, especially those her kids are participating in, as well as reading and baking.
